During a period of heavy UFO activity in the region, an 11-year old boy discovered enormous footprints on the beach near his home. The boy quickly summoned a teacher who in turn brought the schoolmaster and other witnesses. All agreed that they had found human-like foot impressions---but with only three toes---four feet long and 18 inches wide. While the tide was washing them away that night, Capt. George Bond, pilot of American Airways flight 186 arriving in Lagos, spotted a luminescent pulsating object, “shaped like a coffee cup,” flying away from him in the clear dark sky.
